All work is done by hand to ensure the best possible finish. From a basic wax and sharpen to top sheet and sidewall shaping for todays race skis.
- Shaping: This process removes the material in the boxy section of the tip and tail that interferes with cutting in accurate edge bevels. Removal of this material also allows race skis and high end carving skis to slice through the snow and carve cleaner through the turn.
- Hot Box Waxing: A standard practice at the elite levels of competition. Hot Box treatments allow wax to penetrate deeply into the base and is a no brainer for faster more durable bases. Our Hot Box has an adjustable thermostat and uses a patented heat source that delivers consistent even heat.
- Base and side edge bevelling: Customized to match all skill levels and any type of skiing / riding you do. Side edge work will be done to the desired edge angle and finishing either by hand or with the TriOne sharpener. The TriOne is a handheld ceramic stone grinder that removes very little material and tunes to a precise angle and smooth sharp finish. Standard equipment in World Cup ski techs tool boxes.
- White Wolf Racing uses Side Cut Tuning tools, Swix Wax, TriOne precision ceramic edge sharpener, and the Ski Sauna hot box.
